This walk meanders gently through the inner sanctum of the working town of Hull. When we say meanders, we really mean twists, turns and throws up a few unusual alleys. Here the dreadful sight of a skulled woman is seen and you're touched by a blind ghost. The most recent sightings involved an exorcist and some very blood curdling screams from those around. Each road brings a new surprise and a new revelation about the workings of a closely knit community willing to do anything to hide its own murderers and vagabonds!

Today's modern cities have like the past ghetto's, in ancient times many gangs toured the streets looking for favours, with thier own laws. As Hull grew so its population grew, but here the walls became restricting and infact this soon became Hulls downfall for its ever expanding people.

The streets became soiled and dirty, laden with many a thief and murderer for company. Homes became crowded, pubs of which one could be found every 100 yards or so became a dens of crime. The Inner Sanctum soon had a law of it's own. Soon the towns folk became victims of the plague, killing 1 in 3 in such tight quarters that the disease spread faster than lightening. In one area you'll quite literally be walking knee deep in graves, meet a murderer head on and meet the screaming lady of the night.

This walk will take you through the tougher times of death which became so common it was not unusual to be stepping over bodies as you walked. Then again there are some very unhappy spirits who you feel. There's the giant of a man who hated women and now haunts one particular area of the town. Today there is a flat quite literally haunted by a ghost who is not frightened of scaring the life out of you when you live there
